On July 21, support for Panopto Recorder versions before 5.4 will end. After 7 p.m. CT on this date, previous versions (5.3 and earlier) will no longer be able to upload new recordings until they have been upgraded.
Armour Academic Center classroom podiums will be upgraded by Rush staff.
If a previous version installed on your personal or departmental computer, you will be prompted to upgrade when you run the Panopto Recorder application on or after this date. Please refer to Panopto's documentation for more details on the Windows and Mac upgrade process. You will need administrator-level access to your computer to complete these steps.

The Rush Help Desk may need to upgrade Panopto Recorder on Rush workstations and laptops. As of this upgrade, support for Panopto Recorder on macOS versions earlier than 10.10 will end. Mac users with OS X 10.9 or earlier will need to update their operating system to continue to use Panopto for Mac after 7/21/2017 Version 10.10 (Yosemite), which is still supported, was made available in October 2014 as a free update from Apple.
